Oh woe. I do hope that the NY and LA showings of Control* are massively successful so that the film speeds its way out to the rest of the States. At the moment it seems like only Landmark Theatres will eventually bring the film to Detroit, Minneapolis, San Francisco, Seattle, and St. Louis. I’d love to be proven wrong since the trailer alone is so… provocative.

So New York - LA, are you ready? Get out there and get to Control!

*Control is a film about Ian Curtis’ life and death as the lead singer of Joy Division. It is directed by Anton Corbijn and based on the book Touching From A Distance by Deborah Curtis.
