After several inquiries, an online petition, a Facebook group and a couple phone calls to our various mobile devices, the staff of Moodmat has finally caved in to the public’s request and have issued forth our first attempt at a muxtape.

We here at Moodmat Sonic Research Facility realize that the demand has been great, and up until now there have been a plethora of copycats putting up muxtapes saying they are the moodmat muxtape. Don’t be fooled. The link which you clicked above is the only officially sanctioned muxtape we’ve started to construct.

More tracks will be added with great frequency and - with the exception of maybe yours truly - great enthusiasm. It will be a constant work in progress as time passes by. Each Moodmatter will contribute one track, with other editors adding in subsequent order. Think of it as a never ending organic mix tape, and a velvet present to you and your ears.
