So I was locked into the chaos that was the Girl Talk set. It was very fun, but hard to see the man and what he might be doing besides gradually stripping to his shorts. Exposed Pennsylvanian skin was not nearly as perverse as hearing Journey’s “Faithfully” in the mix.

Then there was the potentially horrible idea to mashup the crowd and the stage. It looked like about 30 people on stage and dancing on fixtures throughout the whole set. RSIG Security earned their paychecks.

Another sizable crowd was already enjoying Carl Craig’s live set when we made our way to the main stage. Accompanied by three other musicians (including Wendell Harrison on clarinet and saxophone) Craig showed again just how powerful “understated” can be.
